King Tut: To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, the California Science Center proudly presents the world premiere of KING TUT: TREASURES OF THE GOLDEN PHARAOH–the largest King Tut exhibition ever toured! Discover over 150 authentic artifacts from King Tut’s celebrated tomb–60 of which have never traveled outside of Egypt, until now.
In a dramatic new presentation, dazzling multimedia complements rare artifacts to take guests on an immersive journey of the pharaoh’s quest for immortality.
Mission 26: The Big Endeavour features photographs of some of the spectacular scenes from space shuttle Endeavour’s flight over California and her 12-mile, 68-hour journey through city streets to its final destination in the Samuel Oschin Pavilion at the California Science Center. And of course you’ll get to see the actual space shuttle in all her glory. This is an exhibit not to be missed. When you enter the room your only words will be WOW! To be that close to such an iconic piece of history is chilling.
